U.S. Troops to Leave Iraq by Year’s End, Obama Says - NYTimes.com:

Lets be clear, folks. The only reason Obama is doing this is because Iraq wont grant legal immunity to our troops. This is not about fulfilling campaign promises, nor is it about doing the right thing.

It is because we wish to operate with complete impunity. This is how our rulers are behaving here in the USA, and we expect that everywhere. Unfortunately for us, we don't own the world. Damn.
