Obama with Jobs and Zuckerman

This is an image of the Leader of the Free World with all the tech billionaires. I recognize the Google guy, Zuckerman and Jobs (who is of course dressed in a Steve Jobs costume)
It was undoubtedly taken in California, but the rooms looks kind of cramped. A hotel perhaps? You would think they could do a bit better. I am sure the wine is good.
Obama, and everyone else, looks quite happy and at ease. And why shouldn't they be? All brilliant, wealthy overachievers, and also, young.
So, whats my problem? Well, how does any of this benefit anyone? Mr. Jobs apparently told Mr. Obama (though not apparently at this meeting):

You’re headed for a one-term presidency,” he told Obama at the start of their meeting, insisting that the administration needed to be more business-friendly. As an example, Jobs described the ease with which companies can build factories in China compared to the United States, where “regulations and unnecessary costs” make it difficult for them.

Jobs also criticized America’s education system, saying it was “crippled by union work rules,” noted Isaacson. “Until the teachers’ unions were broken, there was almost no hope for education reform.” Jobs proposed allowing principals to hire and fire teachers based on merit, that schools stay open until 6 p.m. and that they be open 11 months a year.

Hows that for some creative out-of the-box thinking? This is of course the same conservative cant that is trotted out in Rotary Clubs across the globe on a weekly basis (and don't ask me how I know that).

But what do I know.
