A very good piece on the ongoing financial crash.
I read something somewhere about "widespread financial anxiety". Yeah, that's about right. Its in the air. How do I pay the bills? How bad is this going to get? When you look at these "people" (to quote Daniel Plainview from There Will Be Blood-by the way a penetrating portrait of misogyny that I find frighteningly familiar to feelings I would rather not acknowledge) you see the deep arrogance that is behind this. These are all Very Respected People with wives and children who summer in Nantucket or some such place. They are all white, well fed and well cared for. They go to the finest schools.
It was all such a lie.
